Shipping Policy

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are generally dispatched the same if received before 2pm Australian Western Standard time (AWST) or next business day after 2pm (AWST).  All efforts will be made to dispatch orders the same day they are received wherever possible, but this is not always achievable as courier pick-up times are set each day.  Custom orders or limited stock items can cause delays, in which case we will advise you of shipping times. If timing is urgent, please make a note in the comments section and we will do our best to dispatch ASAP.

Can I pick up my order?

Absolutely.  We offer click-and-collect from our Wangara Western Australia store. Simply order online and we will notify you once the order is ready for collection between 8 am & 5 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 12 pm Saturday (we are closed Sundays).  Please note the times to allow for packing below.

Click and Collect orders will generally be available 90 minutes after order placement if placed before 2 pm AWST.  This gives our warehouse staff sufficient time to work through existing orders in the order they have been placed and ensure all items are correctly picked and packed.  We will contact you via email once your order is ready to pickup. If there are any stock allocation issues, we will contact you during this period.  We do ask that you don't come to collect until you receive the pickup notification email. On occasion, there are operational reasons why the 90-minute timeframe cannot be met (holidays, peak periods, major promotions, staff illness, etc).  If it is urgent, please call our friendly staff on 08 6205 6868 to advise as such and we will do everything we can to accommodate the request.

Who will my order be shipped with?

We use several couriers to deliver around Australia, depending on the location and the item size/type. Please note that batteries over 22kg and bulky items over 1.05m in length cannot be sent via Australia Post (their shipping restrictions, not ours), and as such we cannot deliver these to PO Boxes as couriers cannot deliver to Australia Post sites. They will be sent by road freight couriers (usually Border Express).  Please contact us for options for remote shipping.  It is important to note that Lithium batteries cannot be sent by Air with any freight company within Australia or sent from Australia internationally due to dangerous goods regulations.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

A signature is required for the delivery of most packages. If you need a package to be left without a signature, please note this is done at the receiver's risk, as we have no recourse should an item be stolen/damaged if we do not have a signature. Insurance is provided until the parcel is signed for or the driver delivers the parcel when approved to leave without signature. Please contact us if you require delivery without signature to discuss.

What happens if I am not home when my order comes?

A calling card will be left and you will need to pick up the order from a local delivery depot. Fees apply if you require re-delivery.

Can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking details and a link to track your parcel. If you haven’t received your email within 48 hours of placing your order, or if your order is urgent, please contact us on 08 6205 6868 or email at [email protected].

How much do you charge for delivery?

Shipping is calculated at checkout once you enter your address in - We offer free standard road freight for orders over $449 for retail customers. For trade customers, we offer subsidised freight.  Express post is available at an additional cost which you can select at the checkout when placing your order.

Shipping Protection

Shipping Protection/Insurance is available for all orders to protect your order against loss or damage during shipping at a small fee.  This is automatically added to the cart and checkout, but you can delete this protection if you wish to assume this risk.  You will have to manually delete this and accept the waiver for loss or damage if you choose not to take shipping protection insurance - we highly recommend keeping this option as we cannot control the package once collected by the courier.

What happens if I need to change my delivery address?

Please contact us immediately on 08 6205 6868 If your order has already been despatched a fee may apply to re-direct.  If left too late, sometimes there is nothing we can do to change the address.

Returns

Should you need to return an item, please contact us to discuss it first on 08 6205 6868 or drop us an email on [email protected].  No items should be returned without first getting authorisation from the team at Offroad Living.  There may be costs involved and we will help you determine the best solution for the return freight.  If you simply change your mind, any returns should by insured on the return freight at the customers cost.  Please see our returns policy for more details.
